– Ans. In Queens, on 11-Sep-1966, Menke, starting shortstop for ATL & Ryan struck out Menke to end the 7th inning. Menke was a coach for HOU 1983-1988. Ryan pitched there the same years.

– #1 Menke played 4 years for MLN & 2 for ATL. He played for HOU 1968-1971. HOU went from NL to AL in 2013.

– #2 Menke and Anderson played together on the 1962 Toronto Maple Leafs then Anderson was Menke’s manager in CIN 19721973.
