This is not the first time that players from Japan have taken center stage in October, but the buzz surrounding Shohei Ohtani and others feels unprecedented.

This Cleveland club is not a collection of superstars, but what we saw in the Guardians’ Game 3 victory is what this team is – a collection of gamers who feed off each other, pick each other up and come through when it counts.

The Dodgers have walked 31 times in the NLCS, a record for any four-game stretch in the postseason. And their four straight games with seven-plus walks is also a record.
