Peter, over the last few weeks, Inseparable partnered with Mobilize America for their bus tour from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.!
We collaborated on three tour stops in Colorado, Ohio, and Maryland to discuss youth mental health, improving crisis response and peer support, and removing barriers to mental health and substance use care in our communities. Check out some photos below!
In Denver, Colorado, we were joined by Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen, one of our Take 5 champions and a dedicated advocate for mental health and suicide prevention, as well as a panel of state legislators and youth advocates.
We were encouraged by the conversation, as we heard firsthand from young people about their experiences with mental health and substance use, while legislators listened and engaged in meaningful dialogue about how to address the needs through real change.

In Xenia, Ohio, we held a town hall and resource fair with a panel of mental health and substance use experts. This event was standing room only with an incredible crowd!
We learned about the importance of peer support, improving crisis response, and the incredible impact community has when they elevate and honor mental health and recovery.

Finally, in Severn, Maryland, we held a town hall with elected officials, mental health experts, and local community members whose families have been affected by barriers to critical mental health and substance use care.
The discussion was inspiring as we focused on the need for insurance reform and advocacy so that all Marylanders can access the care they need, when they need it.

At every stop, attendees were able to sign the Mobilize Recovery bus traveling from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.
Inseparable is only able to do this work because of you, Peter. Your advocacy and support helps us engage people in their communities and make real change for mental health in the United States. Thank you!
