North Shore Animal League America is proud to be participating in the first-ever DAF Day: a new day of giving that we hope will change how the world sees Donor Advised Funds, and who uses them.
As you know gifts from a DAF — and all kinds of charitable gifts — enable us to continue the lifesaving work we do every day. Our rescue team has been boots on the ground helping local shelter partners in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene — delivering much-needed supplies and taking in animals from their shelters to make room for pets displaced by the storm. We have brought 35 dogs, cats, and kittens back to our campus, with over 30 more arriving today.
Our no-kill promise ensures that we will provide these rescues with everything they need, including ultimately, the protection of a loving home. And whether they require emergency surgery, medication, or simply a warm place to rest, they’ll be cared for as long as it takes.
We hope if you have a Donor Advised Fund, you’ll consider making a critical gift to our rescue efforts on this DAF Day of giving. |
