Power Trends+: Is This Technology Finally Ready for Prime Time – and Profits?

I love talking about transformative technology because it’s incredibly cool, can improve our everyday lives, and opens up massive investment opportunities.

The challenge is often figuring out when these technologies are ready for prime time. They tend to progress slowly at first – sometimes longer than anticipated – before snowballing.

AI anyone?

At a much-anticipated event tomorrow, Tesla (TSLA) will announce its self-driving taxi – or “Cybercab” as it’s called. It could very well signal the ready-for-prime-time inflection point for self-driving vehicles.

Robotaxis already exist, and while I haven’t personally ridden in one, my colleague Luke Lango has. Luke is a Senior Analyst at InvestorPlace, and he has also been all over researching the technology and potential investments in this transformative trend, so I invited him to talk with us about it in this week’s Power Trends+ video.
