Friend, I’m not telling you this only in hopes that you’ll rush for your pocket book.
I’m telling you this because I want you to know what type of man my husband is.
This is Amy Brown. My husband Sam Brown is the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Nevada.
I first met my husband in the burn unit when he returned from Afghanistan after a roadside bomb exploded under his vehicle.
There was one thing about Sam that caught my attention immediately.
It wasn’t the burns on his body, it wasn’t the scars on the face.
His vibrant faith in God glowed brightly even in his darkest days. Everyone that encountered Sam could see it.
For me, Sam was a light that guided me, challenged me, and reconnected me with God and the Church.
I had grown up in the Church but had lost my Faith – I was at my rock bottom until I met Sam.
During that time, I shared with him some of the struggles I had faced.
He told me he was concerned for my Salvation – and for that matter so was I.
That brought us to where we are today, 15 years later. We have 3 kids and I’m a Bible-believing momma who puts Bible lessons in our family’s homeschool curriculum.
Friend, if i hadn’t gone through my darkest days, I may have never met Sam and never found a way back to God the way that I did.
Everything Sam had planned to do with his life changed in 60 seconds in Afghanistan, but it never changed who he was.
His faith never wavered.
His hope never left him.
His dedication and desire to serve has not faded to this day.
Although he would never be permitted to return to the line of duty on account of his injuries, he never stopped fighting for others.
I’ll be honest with you. This campaign hasn’t been easy on our family.
Today I wanted to ask you to help Sam and our whole family make this sacrifice worthwhile.
We need your help to send Sam to the U.S. Senate because he’s the one man who will NEVER back down from WHO HE IS no matter what.
Would you please consider making a donation of any amount to Sam’s campaign?
Thank you in advance for your time, your consideration, and your support.
Sincerely,
Amy Brown
