Earlier this year, I had a chance to meet Nick, the owner of Bottega, and wrote a blog post about it. I had not been to Bottega before, but any time a “where is the best Italian restaurant” post was written, Bottega always was a winner. It was a delight meeting Nick, touring his kitchen, and sampling his amazing food.
I was really there!
My daughter had previously had Pasta Bolognese at a different restaurant and declared it the best pasta she has ever had….UNTIL….she visited Bottega. Perfectly cooked noodles. A deceivingly good sized portion (with leftovers). And so tasty.

I am a fairly simple dude and I like to compare/try similar dishes at different places so I went with the spaghetti with meatballs. And the pasta, sauce and meatballs were/are amazing.

I think my quest for best Italian food is complete. If you haven’t been—go. If you have been, go back. They are located in Arrowhead Ranch and it is an experience you will enjoy and remember.
