Protecting Democracy In Troubling Times

With the barrage of Supreme Court decisions threatening the future of this country and anxiety surrounding our upcoming elections, it may feel hard to know where to go from here, but now is not the time to give up!

Our collective voices as voters remain the most powerful tool for holding our government accountable and safeguarding our democracy.

We invite you to join us and the Workers Circle on July 11 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET for a much-needed, pick-me-up webinar that will leave you feeling hopeful about this election and equipped with the tools to take action!

Two special guest speakers will join us:

Rebecca Buckwalter-Plaza from the Alliance for Justice

Rebecca Buckwalter-Plaza is an activist, advocate, and attorney best known for successfully suing former President Donald Trump under the First Amendment. Rebecca will discuss the recent Supreme Court case claiming that presidents are above the law.

Noelle Damico from the Workers Circle

Noelle Damico is the Director of Social Justice at the Workers Circle. With 30 years of experience in grassroots and institutional organizing in local, regional, and national settings, Noelle is also an adjunct teaching organizing and political advocacy at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Noelle will discuss how you can break the cycle and feel empowered to take action for democracy!
