Gabriel Pietrorazio, KJZZ’s Tribal Resources reporter, began covering Haudenosaunee communities throughout New York and Canada while attending college. Since then, he has prioritized uplifting Indigenous voices by bringing greater visibility and attention to their stories.

His in-depth Indigenous affairs reporting, primarily centered around agricultural issues, recently received an award from the North American Agricultural Journalists 2024 in 3 categories:
