When reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole went down with an injury this spring, it was obviously a huge blow to the Yankees’ rotation. Enter 25-year-old Luis Gil, who has given them far more than they could have expected — essentially, a spot-on impersonation of Cole.
