First Mikvah Since the Holocaust
Dear Friend,
You too can be a part of this tremendous mitzvah, and the great zechus that comes with it!
We are reaching out to share an exciting project that our community in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, led by Chabad Rabbi and Rebbitzen Levine, has undertaken – the construction of the first mikveh in the Gelderland region since the Second World War! This initiative holds profound significance for our community, and we are seeking your support to help this project over the finish line.
The mikveh serves as a cornerstone of Jewish life, providing an essential space for spiritual purification and renewal through ritual immersion. However, the absence of a mikveh outside Amsterdam has presented challenges for many members of our community. With the establishment of this new mikveh, we aim to address this need and create a welcoming environment for individuals and families to observe this sacred tradition.
As we approach the completion of the mikveh, we are pleased to announce that having alreadyfundraised €150,000 we are only €40,000 away from reaching our fundraising goal. With your assistance, we can make this final push and finish construction within three weeks, ensuring that this vital resource is available to our community without further delay.
Your generous contribution can significantly impact our ability to achieve our goal and ensure that this important project becomes a reality for our community. No matter the amount, your donation will directly support the completion of the mikveh and enable us to provide a valuable service to individuals seeking spiritual enrichment and connection.
