A trove of 40 court documents related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was released by a federal court late Wednesday. They include the real names of previously blacked-out associates and connections, though not in a list form.
Instead, the documents comprise over 900 pages of depositions, transcribed interviews, emails, and other evidence, with previously redacted names now revealed. You can read the documents in full here.
In one document, it’s alleged by an Epstein accuser that former President Bill Clinton liked younger girls. Clinton has denied all accusations regarding Epstein.
Another document says that magician David Copperfield had dinner with Epstein and a few girls and “did some magic tricks.”
Newsweek has printed a list of over 70 names names in the documents. That can be found here. More documents are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The people named aren’t accused of wrongdoing, but they show the high level of clout Epstein courted before his arrest. He died an apparent suicide in prison.
Bombs in Iran Kills 100 at Mass Gathering
Two explosions killed nearly 100 Iranians at a ceremony in Iran to commemorate Qassem Soleimani, an Iranian terrorist killed by a U.S. drone in 2020. Iran blamed unspecified “terrorists” for the blasts and vowed revenge. See video here.
No group claimed responsibility for the bombings. A White House official in Washington said it appeared to be a type of attack carried out in the past by Islamic State militants.
The Iran bombings come a day after Israel blew up an apartment building in Lebanon, killing a top Hamas leader and raising fears of a wider war. On Wednesday, the Israeli military and Hezbollah in Lebanon both issued statements indicating no desire to expand the conflict.
