Let’s Get Digital!

Adoption Partners may have recently noticed a change to Petco’s adoption form – it went digital! As part of Petco’s commitment to sustainability, Petco transitioned its paper adoption form to an electronic version, available on Petco devices like tablets and handhelds.

Important – Petco’s electronic adoption form is simply a substitute for the paper adoption form. Petco Adoption Forms (either paper or electronic) must be rung through the register for Petco Love to have a record of your organization’s adoptions. One form is required per adoption and should be rang through the register on the day the adoption is completed. Your org’s adoption application does not replace Petco’s Adoption Form, and the electronic form must still be rang through the register.

Paper Petco Adoption Forms may be used if the electronic form is unavailable.

Submit Your Vaccinated and LovedCampaign Application

We are rapidly approaching the two million mark of vaccines donated by Petco Love! As a reminder, our Vaccinated and Loved campaign application* is open year-round on the Partner Portal.

It’s a great time to start thinking about your Fall vaccine clinic plans for your community. Review the application description to verify your organization qualifies, submit an application, and protect your community against disease!

*The campaign’s focus is to reduce vaccine preventable diseases (parvovirus, distemper and panleukopenia) by providing DAPPv and HCP vaccines to our qualified partners to administer to family pets in their communities for free. Organizations performing adoptions must submit a 2022 Annual Data Report to qualify.

Love Stories Coming Soon!

We are one month closer to the launch of this year’s Love Stories! Submit your favorite special stories about adopters and their pets for a chance to earn grant money for the animal welfare organizations with the most inspirational stories.

BOBS^® Bestie of the Month

Meet Ruger! This handsome tuxedo cat was rescued and fostered as a kitten through Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, where hopeful adopter Kim spotted him. The moment she met him, Kim knew he was just the cat for her!

Whether kayaking or hiking the trails, Ruger now spends his days encouraging Kim to explore and enjoy each moment. “His curiosity has made him the best adventure companion and the best cat I could’ve asked for.”
