The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 reauthorized and expanded the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) to provide $10B in support for small businesses by stimulating private investment. SSBCI provides funds to states, territories and Tribal governments to promote American entrepreneurship, democratize access to capital and support small business growth, including in underserved communities.
This webinar will provide angel investors and other stakeholders in entrepreneur ecosystems an overview of SSBCI and the types of programs used by jurisdictions to support equity investment in startups:
- What is SSBCI and how does it work?
- How can angel investors and/or angel funds participate in SSBCI-supported programs?
- Where can I find more information about SSBCI?
