Last month 50 dogs and puppies were given a second chance at life after being saved from commercial breeding facilities in the Midwest. Witnessing this mission firsthand was Animal League America staff member and designer David Haliski. Usually capturing photographs of the arrival of these rescue missions at our Port Washington, NY campus, this time David stepped behind the scenes and traveled with our Rescue Team to photograph this emotional journey.

For Better or Worse

Tazz was born in 2003 probably around this time of year…kitten season…when most felines come into the world. This spring, his humans decided he was too old and brought him to a vet to be killed. Thankfully, that did not happen.
