| In a recent paper, researchers used historical Christmas Bird Count data to determine baseline populations for a variety of bird species in major cities in Colombia. This work will help set conservation benchmarks in the country going forward, especially in the rapidly expanding metropolitan areas around Medellín, Cali, and Bogotá. Read the paper here. |
