While Congress is the most racially and ethnically diverse it has ever been, there is still a way to go before the people we elect fully represent the breadth of voters in the United States.

Join us and Wisconsin’s 45th and first Black Lt. Governor and former candidate for the United States Senate, Mandela Barnes, on May 11th to learn how we can build a more representative government together.

Mandela Barnes will speak to us about his new PAC, The Long Run, created to support young candidates, candidates of color, LGBTQ+ candidates, and candidates from working-class backgrounds who are breaking the mold of what leadership looks like.

Special guests, including Virginia candidates Adele McClure and Lashrecse Aird, will also join us to ask questions about running for office.
