We start today with some unfortunate news in Maricopa, where a man drowned in a residential pool. On Friday, police and fire/medical departments were called to the scene and began life saving measures on the 55-year-old. The man was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
In the latest national news, Fox News announced earlier today that they have “agreed to part ways” with popular host Tucker Carlson. The news comes less than a week after the network settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems over their coverage of the 2020 election. Carlson’s time slot will be hosted by a rotating array of network personalities for the time being.
Back in Pinal, a familiar face will return to Casa Grande Union High School. Interim Superintendent Jeff Lavender announced on Friday that Randy Robbins will return to the school in his former position of athletic director. Robbins, a CG Union graduate said he is looking forward to coming home to the Casa Grande school. |
