In the wake of a school shooting that took six lives, the Tennessee GOP expelled two duly-elected members of their legislature for joining gun violence prevention protests — and then they passed a law to protect gun manufacturers.

Their attack on our democracy and the lives that will be lost as a result of their shameful, bought-and-paid-for legislation demonstrate exactly why it’s so important we contest every race, including in so-called “red states.”
