Team,

Governor Ron DeSantis’s newly-signed six-week abortion ban is one of the cruelest and most extreme in the country, effectively banning almost all abortions in Florida.

Should it take effect, this will be a disaster for the right to bodily autonomy of millions throughout the South, where abortion after six weeks will remain provided in just two states. In the six months following Dobbs, nearly ten percent of the nation’s abortions were provided in Florida, in large part due to the lack of access elsewhere in the South.

Team, it’s not too late to stop this — over three decades of precedent uphold Floridians’ constitutional right to abortion. While we all know just how much right-wing “justices” care about precedent these days, it’s enough to give us a chance. Can you join us in fighting to stop this disaster by donating $10 or more by midnight?

DONATE

Between the leak of the Supreme Court’s plan to overturn Roe v. Wade and the 2022 Midterms, we contacted almost twenty million potential abortion supporters and connected 750,000 previously unengaged abortion supporters to local grassroots groups where they could take action to protect reproductive freedom.

Whether or not this devastating ban takes effect, our work is clearly not over. We will continue to fight back against anti-abortion extremists in Florida and beyond until their backward movement is utterly defeated.

Team, our partners are determined, passionate, and scrappy advocates for our rights, and every bit of support we can give them brings us that much closer to victory. Will you donate $10 or more right now to help us restore and protect reproductive freedom across the nation?

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
