Do You Need To Balance Your Life’s Priorities?
Why not take this simple test…you will probably find out the “bumps” you are experiencing in life are not due to the “road”! Rather, it’s time to “balance your wheels” through goal setting!
Rate yourself on each area of life ‘spoke’ by placing a dot where you feel you are at this point. (1 = poor, 10 = excellent)
Now, connect the dots with a curved line. Low points cause the “bumps” and are the areas where you need to set new goals. It’s hard to drive a ‘car’ with multiple ‘flat tires!’

When it comes to setting new goals, you can start the process by writing down a clear, concise, very specific description of your goal.
If you have a photo or picture of your goal, or one that symbolizes your goal, it will help you to visualize it and imagine yourself already having achieved it! Then read your goal out loud to yourself. Make sure your objective is stated in the affirmative, as if you have already accomplished it. Mentally picture yourself in the image of you having already achieved your goal and living it! Just hold it there on the motion picture screen in your mind for a minute…thinking through such details as how it (success) will FEEL, taste, smell, sound or look! Bring the goal alive in your mind while visualizing all of the little details you can think of, & letting your 5 senses go to work!
Ask yourself the question: “What is my Dream for my Life?” “What is God’s Dream for my life.” How can I best love, serve, help & build up people? How can I have fun doing it!?
Remember, “WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT!” So keep your mind thinking about the good, the true, the beautiful, & your biggest dreams, goals, desires & aspirations!
