Completed postcards must be mailed March 14-24 (and as late as March 27 if mailed from Wisconsin) so as not to arrive too early or too late.
Writers must use Reclaim Our Vote postcards, a powerful part of our strategy and message. Many regional organizers have them, and if not, there is still time to order some. Learn more about how to postcard and order supplies here.
Why write with a nonpartisan campaign right now? Our nonpartisan script emphasizes key issues at stake (voting rights, democracy and women’s health), and gives essential voting information (e.g. photo ID, voting early, info on where and when to vote, via our jurisdiction-specific labels). The script offers the names of both candidates, and which parties endorse them. This part is vital, as the candidate names will not have “D” or “R” next to them on their ballots in this “nonpartisan” race, but many voters may depend on that information to guide their votes. Being nonpartisan, we cannot endorse a candidate, but we can supply information to help voters choose, vote successfully, and not be denied their fundamental rights.
