The Maricopa Police Department is investigating a house shooting on the 19000 block of North Toledo yesterday. Although no one was injured in the incident, MPD discovered a house with multiple bullet holes. No arrests have been made so far.

Also, in Maricopa, the city is calling for artists to add a splash of art and color to traffic signal boxes on city streets. According to a press release, the city is looking to highlight local artists and rely on their creative minds to think outside the traffic signal box.

Finally, in Coolidge, a Casa Grande-based carnival company returned to provide fun attractions to the Coolidge Cotton Days Festival for the second consecutive year. Kastl Amusements brought 14 rides to the festival, including favorites such as Cliff Hanger and Zipper.
