Good morning RJ,
A super weekend ended with a new Super Bowl Champion being crowned. At State Farm Stadium in Glendale, the Kansas City Chiefs are leaving the valley with the Lombardi Trophy. Relive the slugfest between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles from last night.
It was truly a wild weekend for the state. As tourists flocked to Arizona, many came to take part in the festivities of both the Super Bowl and the Phoenix Open. From the events of the “big game” to the rowdy fans at the 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale, guests had the chance to take in one-of-a-kind experiences in the Grand Canyon State.
Outside of the sports world, a U.S. Military fighter jet shot down a unknown object flying off the northern coast of Alaska Friday afternoon. While the White House said the object was shot down due to its threat to the safety of civilian flights, it is the second instance of an unidentified object being shot down over U.S. airspace, raising concerns over China’s surveillance program. |
