The State of the Union Is…Worse Than Ever

Tonight, Mr. Biden heads to the House of Representatives to give the annual State of the Union speech (SOTU).  Typically, this speech is an opportunity for the president to stand before the country and list all the accomplishments the administration has achieved.  For example, we all remember for four years straight how President Trump was able to document and share an incredible economy that he fostered with record wage growth, record low inflation and record employment in all categories for all people.   

We had energy independence for the first time in two generations, record low gas prices and the country was optimistic and happy.   There was a pep in everyone’s step as we enjoyed what we now call the good-ole-days.

Now, today, just two years later, we are living in a catastrophe created by Joe Biden and the democrats.   It’s hard to believe anyone would want to wreck the great economy and culture we had, but Biden and his democrat enablers found a way. Elections have consequences, and for everyone who voted for Joe Biden and his band of reckless democrats, now you are reaping what you have sown.   The numbers are appalling!

By the Numbers—Record Harm and Destruction of America

In a recent poll from ABC News-Washington Post, more Americans, in historic numbers, say they are WORSE off financially than before the Biden took office. The poll also finds that more than six in ten Americans concluded  President Biden has accomplished  “not very much” or “little or nothing” since taking office.

It is one thing to be a failure domestically and internationally, as Biden and the democrats are, but it is quite another to harm the country.  This amounts to negative accomplishments never seen in the history of this country.

BIDEN’S ECONOMIC CRISIS:

• When Joe Biden took office, inflation was at just 1.4%.
• In December, the CPI came in at 6.5% for the 12 months ending December.
  • This is the second-hottest December CPI report since 1981.
• December was the 21st straight month that real wages have been negative.
• The skyrocketing cost of goods and services cost families $10,000 over the last two years.
• Inflation has risen over 13% since Joe Biden took office.

BIDEN’S ENERGY CRISIS:

• On the day that Biden was sworn into office, the average price for a gallon of gas nationwide was $2.39.
• Today, the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.47—over a dollar more than when Biden took office, and climbing.
• According to the Energy Assistance Directors Association, households are expected to pay the highest energy costs in 15 years this winter.
• Over a third of American households say they have forgone basic expenses to afford an energy bill in the last 12 months, according to a recent LendingTree survey.

BIDEN’S NATIONAL SECURITY CRISIS:

• Joe Biden has failed every international crisis.   He, along with his seditious Gen. Milley (who promotes homosexuality and transgenderism in the military) have made a joke out of our foreign policy.
• Biden has, without the consent of Congress, engaged in war against Russia and has used more than $100 billion in tax money to fund the Ukrainian government to protect its borders while our border remains open with over six million invaders since Biden assumed office.
• Biden has essentially helped cause the death of over 170,000 Ukrainian soldiers, who have been thrust into the Russia maw as cannon fodder.   Biden has received bribes from Ukraine for years through his son Hunter.   For the price of a couple million dollars paid by Ukraine to the Biden family as bribes, Ukraine has received over $100 billion in U.S. tax money aid.   That is quite a return on investment for Ukraine, and corrupt foreign policy on our part.
• The Biden administration allowed a Chinese surveillance balloon to traverse the U.S., across sensitive military sites, before taking decisive action. Rep.  Swalwell was removed from key committees because of his sexual relationships with a Chinese spy.  Maybe Biden should have asked Swalwell about this balloon.
• The balloon entered U.S. airspace on January 28th over the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, days before the American people were made aware or before action was taken.
• The American people deserve to know why Joe Biden allowed this national security threat for so long, why he tried to hide it from the American people, and what information our foreign adversaries were gathering.
• In an effort to mitigate this foreign policy spy scandal, the media started to say, without any evidence, that Chinese spy balloons crossed into our country under President Trump.  This is doubtful and likely a hoax.  But if true, we need to see the documentation from the Joint Chiefs of Staff to President Trump discussing this.  Until we see evidence, presume this is yet another media hoax by the Left.
• We can never forget Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.  His incompetence, spearheaded by the treasonous General Milley, resulted in OVER 1,000 Americans abandoned behind enemy lines for the first time in American history.   The concept of “leave no man behind” is ingrained in our military culture, or was until General Milley took over.   As a result, for up to a year, Americans were at the mercy of the Taliban.
• Don’t forget the $7 billion in top U.S. military equipment left behind for the Taliban to use or to sell.   And sell they have.  Our equipment has been traveling the world out of Afghanistan all because of General Miley’s incompetence and dereliction of duty.
• Since Vietnam, Americans have seen questionable military strategy, combined with political blundering, resulting in massive American military deaths and no military victories.  It is no surprise that Americans don’t want to join a U.S. military that will protect other countries and leave us vulnerable and under invasion at home.  Americans will die to protect America, but instead they have been dying to protect Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and other countries.  Under Biden, the U.S Army fell 15,000 soldiers short of their recruitment goal for FY22, missing by 25%.  This is a natural result of young people not wanting to die in Ukraine or some other crap hole country.
• According to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Personnel Policy, who testified before the Senate Armed Services Personnel Subcommittee, “this constitutes an unprecedented mission gap.”

BORDER CRISIS:

• Since Joe Biden took office:
  • There have been OVER 4.5 MILLION illegal crossings of our southern border.
  • December 2022 was the worst month on CBP’s 22-year record for monthly crossings and the tenth consecutive month that our southern border had more than 200,000 illegal crossings.
  • More than 1.2 MILLION illegal immigrants have evaded apprehension at our southern border, according to Border Patrol sources.
  • A hospital in Yuma is broke as a result of having to treat illegal aliens.   Healthcare for local citizens is now jeopardized because of Biden’s open border policy inviting over 6 million illegal alien invaders and counting.
• In the first three months of this fiscal year alone, CBP has seized over 9,000 pounds of fentanyl coming across the Southwest border—enough to kill over 2.1 billion people, or over 6.4 times the U.S. population.
• In just the first three months of FY 2023, 38 people whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to cross the southern border.
  • This total is more than the encounters in all FY17, FY18, FY19, FY20, and FY21 combined.

BIDEN’S CRIME CRISIS:

• According to the Major Cities Chiefs Association’s 2022 crime report for urban areas across the country:
  • Homicides are UP 13% since 2020
  • Rape is UP 23.56% since 2020
  • Aggravated Assaults are UP 33.89% since 2020
• According to the National Fraternal Order of Police, in 2022:
  • 323 police officers were shot.
  • 60 police officers were killed by gunfire.
    • 28% increase in police officers killed by gunfire compared to 2020.

Biden’s Department of Justice released a report in December showing that even as crime skyrocketed in 2021, federal arrests actually decreased by 35% compared to 2020.

Overall, the State of the Union is awful.   We must fight to reverse the harm inflicted by Biden and his democrat stooges.
