Our newest online course opens with the question, “What happened to my country?”

It’s a question I’ve asked myself many times over the last few years as I’ve read the latest reports on radical gender ideology pushed in our elementary schools, speech squashed by the media and corporate class, basic rights left unprotected in many of our cities, and economic opportunity diminished for millions of Americans.

To understand the source of these radical changes that undermine the rights of American citizens, we’ve produced the new online course, “The American Left: From Liberalism to Despotism.”

In this course, Dr. Kevin Slack, associate professor of politics at Hillsdale College, traces the transformation of the American left over the last 100 years. You’ll learn how post-sixties radicals rejected the midcentury liberalism of Franklin Roosevelt; you’ll discover the origins of modern gender ideology, identity politics, and today’s global elite; and, you’ll explore how these movements overtook America’s key institutions.
