It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, it’s not Christmas, but… Girl Scout cookies are back! Starting January 21, troops across the county will be selling their trademark treats. Girl Scouts did quite well in Pinal County last year, selling over 53,000 boxes.
And nationally, residents in parts of Alabama and Georgia are still in a state of shock after a tornado-spawning storm ravaged thousands of homes and killed at least nine people last week. In the aftermath, citizens continue to search through the wreckage for anything worth saving. |
