Want to show off your artistic side while supporting a good cause? If so, check out the Art 4 Heart event coming to Maricopa next month. The festival will celebrate it’s 5th year, and all proceeds will go to the American heart Association.
Also, in Maricopa, some advanced technology helped the Maricopa Police Department identify a motorist that fled from officers. Flock Safety, an automated license plate reader system, identified the plate of a Chevrolet Malibu and tracked down the vehicle’s location, where officers arrested the driver.
And in Casa Grande, check out our photo gallery from the Casa Grande Unity March yesterday. Elementary school students marched from Len Colla Recreation Center to city hall as a way to celebrate and honor the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
