Peter,
I couldn’t let the holiday season pass by without extending my sincere gratitude. On behalf of the dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens you have helped us save and heal this year, thank you.
Support from animal lovers like you has been a true gift this year. With your help, North Shore Animal League America has rescued countless homeless animals from cruelty, neglect, disaster, and despair. Together, we’ve provided them with lifesaving medical care, nourishing food, and the comfort of a warm bed. And we’re thrilled about the latest victory for homeless animals in New York State! Gov. Kathy Hochul recently signed the “Puppy Mill Pipeline” ban into law, banning pet stores from selling dogs, cats, and rabbits from out-of-state animal mills.
Thank you for your kindness and belief in our no-kill mission. Because of you, these homeless animals are spending their holidays safe with us – or in a new loving home!
We’ve all heard the expression, the greatest gifts come in small packages. Trust me when I say, no package is smaller than Cricket’s.
Please watch this short video for more about this tiny kitten with a big fighting spirit, as told by Beth Stern! Surrendered with his littermates, little Cricket was tiny enough to fit in a pocket… and we later determined he was suffering from a potentially fatal thyroid disorder that stunted his growth and development.
Coming to our no-kill campus saved Cricket’s life – and he’ll enjoy the gift of many more tomorrows as the newest (and smallest) member of our Sponsorship program. Thanks to supporters like you, Cricket’s medical bills will be paid for life.
On behalf of the entire North Shore Animal League America team and every homeless animal you saved this year – I wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season! |
