A minor in Casa Grande is being charged as an adult after she allegedly attacked another person with a knife. Although the circumstances behind the alleged knifing are unknown, Yikaniniya Gonnie was charged with aggrevated assault and is awaiting her next court date.
Meanwhile, the Coolidge City Council took the first step in making major road improvements.The road work is located near the planned site for Proctor and Gamble’s new manufacturing site. The improvements come with a hefty price tag of $7 million for the city, but will provide easier transportation for commercial trucks once Proctor and Gamble are up and running.
And finally, a vehicle pursuit ended in a rollover collision on Interstate 10 early Wednesday morning. The pursuit began in Eloy, and lasted for 53-miles. |
