Our hearts go out to Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb and his family after his son and granddaughter were killed in a car accident on Friday. Cooper Lamb, 22, and his 1-year-old daughter were pronounced dead on the scene. Cooper’s fiancée was hospitalized and is in critical condition.
A Maricopa resident was caught by surprise after opening the door and being greeted by a man with a gun. Two men and one woman were arrested on multiple charges stemming from a home invasion. The group was charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of narcotics and unlawful imprisonment.
And finally, San Tan Valley residents may get a few local places to picnic, with the Pinal County Supervisors hearing proposals on building public parks in San Tan Valley. The board discussed how they could get the ball rolling on creating a public park system in large, unincorporated areas in San Tan Valley. |
