Good morning RJ,
Pinal County staff are going to have to go back to the drawing board after the supervisors rejected a request to put up a gate across a heavily trafficked road in Gold Canyon community. Residents in the Peralta Canyon community have complained about speeding and drag racing along the road. Staff suggested a gate to close off the roadway, but the supervisors have asked for a less restrictive solution.
The supervisors also approved relaxing some of the restrictions on the call to the public at the meeting. The board removed a rule prohibiting “electioneering” during the call to the public. The supervisors also updated some house rules for themselves.
And Happy Thanksgiving! We’ll be taking the day off tomorrow to enjoy turkey and all the trimmings and my personal favorite … pie! If you’re looking for a good pie or another sweet treat for your next big dinner, you may want to check out this traveling bakery truck based in Coolidge. |
