The finalists for MLB’s four major end-of-season awards — Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, Cy Young Award and Most Valuable Player — will learn who takes home the hardware this week.

The 2022 award winners for each league will be announced over the next four days at 6 p.m. ET on MLB Network.

Here’s a breakdown of the three nominees for each award in the American League and National League.

Seven clubs have yet to have a player or manager win one of the major BBWAA awards that will be handed out this week. Two of those blank spaces could be filled in the next few days.

Though he was born in the Dominican Republic, Jeremy Peña honed his game playing in the blustery northeast springs of Rhode Island and Maine.

There have only been 10 Most Valuable Player Awards won by players 35 years or older, and Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt has an opportunity to join that list.
