We received thousands of responses to the survey we sent out last month—proof that small business owners like you are deeply engaged in policy issues and recognize the power of your voice when speaking to policymakers. Here is what we heard from you:

If your business’s interests were at risk…

Many of you also wanted to learn more about public policies that could affect the way businesses use digital advertising to reach new customers, safeguard the digital tools that support your business, and protect free speech as well as defend your business and customers from harmful online content. We also heard that inflation and keeping costs low are top of mind–in fact, a recent poll shows that half of small businesses (50%) say inflation is the top challenge facing the small business community.

With the midterm elections approaching next month, these issues are more relevant than ever. In January, a new Congress will be seated, and it will likely consider policies that affect business owners like you.

That’s why we’re providing ways for you to learn more about the issues that matter to you and your business. Next month, our partners at Connected Commerce Council will host a webinar where you’ll learn about what to expect from the new Congress—and how you can make your voice heard as they enact new policies.
