Tomorrow: Mobilizing Black Alabama Voters

Thursday, October 6th at 5pm PT| 8pm ET

Yesterday, the Supreme Court began hearing arguments in the Merrill vs. Milligan case, which could uphold Alabama’s racially discriminatory congressional map and undermine the Voting Rights Act.

What’s at stake with this case only emphasizes how important it is for us to mobilize Black voters in Alabama this fall so they can elect members in office that represent their issues.

Tomorrow, October 6th: Join leaders of the Alabama Democracy Center Coalition, Douglas Bonner, E.C. Rentz, and Karen Stanley, who are working to mobilize Black voters across the state this fall.

Politicians and other national organizations have turned their backs on the most important group of voters: Black voters in the south. But we haven’t and neither should you. Come learn how you can join our campaign to increase Black voter turnout in Alabama and beyond!
