A woman and her two children were sent to the hospital yesterday following a collision in Coolidge. According to police, a man pulled out in front of their vehicle the man was arrested on a DUI and drug charge.

Speaking of votes, voting in the annual Greatest of the Grande contest starts Monday. This year we had a total of 20,700 nominates. That’s the most nominations for the contest that we’ve ever received. The nominations have been narrowed down to the top three in each of the more than 147 categories. Voting runs through Oct. 2.
