Upcoming 2022 Samohi Class Reunions

When: Saturday, September 10th, 2022 (2:00pm to 5:30pm)
Where: Earth, Wind, and Flour, 2222 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90403, (310) 829-7829.
Hosts: Bob Ayer, Bob Gold, Ron Klemp, Shelly Bohn Hock, Kathy Victory, Loreen La Fleur Ayer, and Kathy Carter.

When: Saturday, September 10th, 2022 (6:00pm to 9:00pm) 
Where: Hotel Shangri-La, 1301 Ocean Blvd, Santa Monica, 90401, located between Santa Monica Blvd. and Arizona Avenue, (310) 394-2791.
Hosts: Samohi newlyweds, Ben and Bettyann (Grubb) Gage, along with their dear friend Kurt Mengel, welcome and invite all members of the Samohi Class of 1967 to join them at a 55th Reunion sunset event the historic Hotel Shangri-La (address above). We will be meeting on an informal basis at the 8th floor Oynx Rooftop Bar. Light snacks and beverages will be provided in Ben and Bettyann’s 5th floor ocean-view room and a full food and drink menu will be available from the hotel on a no-host basis. 

The Class of 1972’s 50th Reunion will be on Saturday, September 10th at Hotel MDR, in Marina Del Rey, CA from 6:00pm to 11:30pm.

It will include a dinner buffet, DJ music, and a no host bar. All are welcome except no minors under 18 please. “The Reunion Committee” in Santa Clarita will be handling the event. We are thrilled to announce The Class of 1980 60th Birthday Celebration (AKA 40th reunion). Since the vast majority of this class was born in or around 1962, we think that partying together with the pandemic in our collective rear-view mirrors will be a terrific way to celebrate our common milestone. This will be a huge birthday bash and give everyone a chance to plan ahead, save some money, and attend in full force.
When: Saturday, October 8th, 2022 (6:00pm to 11:00pm)
Where: Le Méridien Hotel, Santa Monica CA, across from Samohi
Cost: $125 per person. NOTE: TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. The deadline is September 30th!

Hello, Samohi Class of 1973 classmates! Our 50th Reunion will be on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at Duke’s in Malibu from 6:00pm-10:00 pm.

Not sure of the exact cost yet, but probably around $125.00 per person. If you’re planning to attend, I need a $50.00 per person deposit now. I need to get an idea of how many are seriously planning to attend. The deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 45 days prior to the event.

Hopefully there will be an All Class Picnic the same day at the school and anyone interested can meet there at the quad around 11:00 or so. Then I’ll be planning a breakfast/brunch at a local restaurant on Sunday morning for anyone that’s interested. (Not included in the cost of the reunion).
