From Sedona to Kalamazoo, Republican AG candidates are echoing Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election to anyone who will listen.
Republican AG candidates Matt DePerno of Michigan and Abe Hamadeh of Arizona are continuing to lie about the (settled) results of the 2020 election without fear of consequence. Well, Peter, our job is to make sure that they actually face consequences for this dangerous rhetoric about our democracy. We need to make sure that radicals like DePerno and Hamadeh don’t set foot near the AG office – because we know Trump and his allies will try and use them to overturn any election result they don’t like.
If Trump’s GOP AG candidates are able to gain power, it will be the greatest threat to our democracy since January 6, 2021. With our freedoms on the line in less than 90 days, we need to vote to defend them by electing Democratic AGs and candidates who will defend our elections and safeguard the right to vote, no matter what.
