The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (CIS Ombudsman)invites designated school officials and responsible officers to join an interagency engagement on international student issues on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 1 to 2:15 p.m. EDT.
During the engagement, representatives from the Department of State, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection will share updates and answer questions about issues affecting international students.
The CIS Ombudsman is committed to public engagement and sessions such as this one will help us to gather valuable information as we coordinate efforts with USCIS and other federal agencies to improve the administration of the immigration benefits system.
