SEEKING: Volunteers for Shriners Children’s Chicago
VOLUNTEER TASK: Sell raffle tickets for an autographed guitar from Kid Rock (ticket buyers get a free CD) before the Foreigner & Kid Rock concert.
DATE: Friday, August 19th 5:30-9:30pm
PLACE: Hollywood Casino Amphitheater- 9100 Ridgeland Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477
PURPOSE: Shriners Children’s is fortunate to have an outstanding partnership with Rock It Kidz. Rock It Kidz is an organization that collaborates with musicians and bands to raise money for Shriners Children’s by selling CDs. The proceeds from the CD sales benefit Shriners Children’s Chicago. We are looking for volunteers to walk around the venue prior to the concert, selling CDs to the audience. Once Kid Rock starts, your job of selling CDs is over! You will be free to watch Kid Rock (lawn tickets only), after we are done selling the CDs. We cannot guarantee seats.
EVENT DETAILS: Traffic pre-concert can be very HEAVY. The earlier you arrive to park, the better.
Estimated timing:
Parking Lot Opens @ 4:30 PM
Doors open and sales begin @ 5:30 PM
FOREIGNER 7:25 PM – 8:15 PM
Stop selling raffle tickets when Kid Rock takes the stage at 9:00 PM
KID ROCK 9:00 PM – 10:55 PM
Winning ticket is drawn @ 10:55 PM (Winning ticket number is announced and posted on screens on stage)
Deadline to register as a volunteer: Tuesday, August 16th
