Good morning RJ,
It is Election Day! It’s too late to put your early ballot in the mail, but there’s still time to vote. You can drop off your early ballot at any ballot drop box or at your local precinct. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. today for those who prefer to vote in person. Here’s what to watch for in today’s election. Stay tuned to our website, where we’ll be reporting results as they come in all week.
Also, where you snarled in traffic on I-10 yesterday? Wondering what happened? A single-vehicle roll-over crash closed parts of Interstate-10 for about 40 minutes around lunchtime on Monday.
And one of two people arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Casa Grande last month has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Amber Beets, 34, is charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. Police believe she may have been the driver in the shooting.
Also, you still have time to vote for your favorite Maricopa business in the Creme de la Copa contest! Voting on the top three businesses in each category is open through Aug. 5. Winners will be announced in October. |
