Civil War Program – March 2022
Hi Fellow History Lovers,
I am beginning to give talks again after the shutdown, but only a few are scheduled that are open to the public. The talk is a fascinating comparison of two couples in the Civil War. Please see the attached flyer and article with more info. The title is Deep Devotion, Different Causes: The Barlows and the Gordons in the Civil War and Beyond. Of course I will be in 1860’s attire.
This talk is rather far away in Springfield, OH at the Clark County Park District office and museum. There is a charge of $10 for the talk. On the flyer there is a link to the website where you can register. A friend told me that if you register and pay online there is a $2 service charge. Maybe you can call to register and pay with a check (not sure) to save the registration fee. I realize that this is very far to go and you may not want to drive there and/or pay, too. I just wanted you to know about it in case you want to come (and bring a friend) or pass the info along..
I hope that all is well with you.
