Good morning RJ,
Yay! The county has settled on a fix for an error that left candidates for city and town councils off some mail-in ballots. Voters who vote by mail or in person on Aug. 2 will be given a separate ballot for city or town council elections. However, a lawsuit has now been filed against the county because of the snafu. We will keep you updated with the latest on our website, PinalCentral.com.
And speaking of elections, read how Florence Town Council candidates would revitalize downtown in the last of our five-article series on why the candidates are running for office. You can find the rest of the articles on the Florence Reminder Blade – Tribune website.
Also, an Apache Junction man facing reckless manslaughter charges has rejected a plea agreement from prosecutors. The man is accused of allegedly driving recklessly and causing a fatal accident. |
