Good morning RJ,
Casa Grande Police and Fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed an abandoned house early Monday morning. The cause of the fire is unknown but the home had been vacant for some time.
And a Coolidge man is facing charges after he allegedly tried to grab an officer’s stun gun during a struggle. The man also allegedly gave officers a false name and had illegal drugs on him.
Also, voters can add one more proposition to the growing list on November’s ballot. The Pinal County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved putting a half-cent sales tax to fund road improvements on the ballot on Monday. If approved, the tax will replace a previously voter approved road tax that was struck down by the Arizona Supreme Court. The new tax will apply to all purchases. |
