School is out for the summer, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing for local kids to do. Our latest Copacetic magazine issue is dedicated to all of the fun activities for both kids and adults that are available in the Maricopa area.

There are a ton of youth sports and camps just for kids. Looking for ways to cool off? Volunteer at the Maricopa Community Theater, take in a show at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino or grab a book at the Maricopa Public Library.

There’s plenty of ways to beat the summer doldrums.

Most of these caregivers could use a helping hand. Helping out could be as simple as sitting and talking with a neighbor who may have dementia while their caregiver takes a much-needed break or offering to pick something up from the store.
