Good morning RJ,
Hooray! A three-day weekend and the unofficial start of summer. But before you fire up the grill and invite everyone over for dinner, you might want to take a COVID test. Health officials have noted that the number of reported COVID cases is at its highest since February.
And a Tucson man is facing charges after allegedly leading Pinal County deputies on a pursuit. Deputies tried to stop the man after he allegedly ran a stop sign but he refused to pull over. He eventually stopped. When he was arrested, he allegedly told deputies he didn’t stop because there were no parking signs along the interstate.
Also, a Casa Grande man has been accused of assault after he allegedly tried to drag a woman by her hair and under her arms back into a motel room. The two had allegedly been arguing before the incident took place.
