Sen. Wendy Rogers

Dear Rj,

A few months ago, state Sen. Wendy Rogers was historically censured by the Arizona Senate for her remarks at a white nationalist conference.

At the event, Wendy praised a known Holocaust denier and called for the hangings of her political enemies. During her term in the Arizona Senate, she’s continued to push lies about the 2020 election, supported hundreds of horrible bills, and regularly makes racist, xenophobic, and anti-semitic statements.

Tell the Arizona Legislature: Expel Wendy Rogers.

Then, just a few hours after the horrific mass shooting in Buffalo this week, she posted online implying that the massacre was the work of the federal government, not a white supremacist shooter.

Wendy has consistently used her position as a lawmaker to spread hateful and divisive rhetoric. Her language has no place in the Arizona Legislature, and is abhorrent coming from anyone, but especially dangerous from a lawmaker.

She needs to be removed from the AZ Legislature. Tell your lawmakers now.

It is inexcusable for a sitting lawmaker to express support for white supremacy, Holocaust denial, and racist figures, but this is the extreme direction the Arizona GOP is heading.

Wendy must be held accountable and expelled from office.

Arizonans deserve lawmakers who will fight for them, instead of spreading hate to divide us. We deserve better than Wendy Rogers.

In solidarity,

Abigail Jackson, Progress Arizona
