Washington, DC – Representative Paul Gosar, DDS (AZ-04) issued the following statement after the Biden administration released new data showing nearly 235,000 illegal aliens crossed the southern border in April.

“More than a quarter million illegal aliens crossed our open southern border in April, surging to an all-time high from any previous point in American history.  Worse, more than 117,000 were released into our homeland, overwhelming communities across America.

To put this in perspective, in just one month, that’s nearly the entire populations of Scottsdale, Arizona or Boise, Idaho and more people than the populations of Spokane, Washington or Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Joe Biden has failed the American people.  The border crisis grows worse every month, yet Mr. Biden continues to push his disastrous Far-Left open-border policies and has no plan to secure the southern border,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
