We are getting ready for something big, Peter. This Thursday, May 19, we are partnering with MTV for Mental Health Action Day!
Last year, more than 1,400 nonprofits, brands, government agencies, and influential leaders from 32 countries came together to shift our mental health culture from awareness to action. We couldn’t be more excited about our progress to date and to be a part of that work this year!
Together, we can take action to improve our mental health and help those around us receive the support they need. The health of our minds is inseparable from the health of our bodies.
This year’s theme is Connection, as people of all ages continue to seek out ways to cope with loneliness from the pandemic and learn of new ways to connect with their friends and loved ones in these challenging times.
Whether you read about it or personally felt the consequences of the pandemic, it’s clear that these past couple of years have had huge negative consequences on mental health. Even so, essential treatment options like therapy or support groups are still out of reach for some people.
But this year is our chance to connect and encourage people to take their first steps toward mental health action. Together we will build a strong community that brings action, inclusion, and support.
We’re excited to do this together,
– Team Inseparable
