Good morning RJ,
Lights, camera, handcuffs? A group’s attempt to create a little movie magic in their lives fell flat after Coolidge Police arrested them for allegedly using movie prop money to purchase items at Walmart. Not exactly an Academy Award-winning performance.
And talk about a room with a view. Visitors to the Casa Grande Ruins may soon be able to stay a little bit longer and hopefully spend a bit more money in town. The Coolidge Planning and Zoning Commission has approved plans for a new hotel across the street from the national monument.
And if you’re looking for a challenge in the kitchen, you might want to try the latest Simple or Not Kitchen desert for orange upside-down cake. This finicky cake has stumped our chef. Can you make it work?
Also, a former PCSO deputy’s actions really took the cake, or rather the gifts, at several valley couples’ weddings. Check out this video of him allegedly making off with one couple’s honeymoon fund on our Instagram feed. |
